Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Webhive Ventures LLC ("Mentionly", "we") collects and uses personal data when you use mentionly.so and app.mentionly.so (the "Service").

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, authentication data (managed by our auth provider).
• Project data: website URL, business description, keywords, competitors, settings and reply guidelines you provide.
• Content we process for you: publicly available posts, videos and articles that match your keywords from the sources you enable (Reddit, X, Hacker News, Stack Overflow, YouTube, GitHub, Bluesky, DEV, Lobsters and online news via GDELT), AI-generated scores and reply drafts, and answers from AI assistants to the questions you track.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store your plan and subscription status, not your card details.
• Usage data: basic logs and usage counts needed to operate, secure and bill the Service.

How we use data

• To provide the Service: find and score conversations, generate drafts, track AI visibility and send the notifications you configure.
• To bill you and enforce plan limits.
• To send service emails (e.g. trial reminders, weekly summaries). You can turn off the weekly summary in Settings.
• To keep the Service secure and improve it.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not post anything to third-party platforms on your behalf.

Sub-processors

We use the following providers to run the Service: Supabase (database and authentication), OpenAI, Perplexity and Google Gemini (AI processing), Serper (search rankings), Apify (collecting public Reddit and X posts), Resend (email), Stripe (payments) and our hosting provider. Content sent to AI providers is limited to what is needed for the feature you use. The full, current list is on our Subprocessors page, and a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure. On mentionly.so we use Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete a project or your entire account at any time in Settings; this permanently deletes the associated data from our database. Backups are rotated on a rolling basis.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at info@mentionly.so.
